Garage reference
Which one fits? Look it up.
You are standing in the garage holding a screw that will not turn, a shelf you are not sure about, or a remote that stopped working. This site answers the lookup: which bit, how much load, which replacement, what pressure. It states the figure, states where the figure comes from, and states when it does not apply.

Which bit does this screw need?
The most common question this site gets asked, so it runs on the front page. Pick the device, pick the head shape, pick the size.
Step 1 · What are you opening
Answer
Pick a device, then a head shape, then a size. The answer appears here with the near-miss bit that rounds the screw out.

How this site is written
This site runs no tests. Nothing here was measured in a workshop by anyone writing it, and you will not find a sentence claiming otherwise. Specifications come from published standards and from manufacturer documentation, and each reference page names what it drew on.
Compatibility is a separate matter. The 18 opener model pages are built from what product listings state, and a listing is a seller’s claim rather than a verified fact. Where a listing names a model number, this site repeats that it names it. Where a listing is silent, this site stays silent too, and every model page carries the steps for checking against your own hardware.
Product links are Amazon affiliate links, so a qualifying purchase earns this site a commission at no extra cost to you. There are no prices and no star ratings here, because both go stale faster than a static page can follow. Full disclosure, and what this site does and does not do.
